Hay, Im Cam
I currently have a 8th Gen GTS with a 4G63 from 2006 (In NZ we had 8g's until 06) This is my second Galant i used to have a GL station wagon, which was awesome back when i needed to carry around a lot of gear. But when i got offered the GTS i couldn't resist because of its great condition.
Will Put some Pics up.
And maybe write a full car stereo/speaker change tutorial for the 8g as i plan to finish that up soon on my car.

I took these pics in my drive way just before it completely rained down on me. Also I've noticed quite a difference in performance this 06 Galant from other early 2000's Galants I've driven, does anyone know if the revised the engine or something?
Love it! Love the tails too, they are cleaner than the ones we see, the clear portion doesn't have the red trim lines in it.

Looks nice has anyone noticed the fogs are single and not double

We don't get many of the red ringed ones around here, i seen them once on a imported Galant. I prefer them without the red rings myself. Also they are quite dark colored, like the front lights as well, even the plastic on the inside lights are surprisingly dark.
And Blue8g here is the engine pics:

Actually, you don't need the whole engine. Many members on here have done the DOHC top swap using the Evo 4G63T head, and even the 2.4L DOHC head from the Hyundai Sonatas here in the states. That may be a better option to you, if you want DOHC power.
