AC air filter

I orderen an air filter online and went to change it today this is what i found.

It looks like it was never replaced before. Now how do i remove the fikter from that tray??

Thanks, i replaced it and wow what a huge difference it blows soooo much air now 120k miles on same filter wow

I just removed mine, blows even harder. Dusty from time to time if you don't use it, LoL.

behind the glove box i think they stop using it after 2001-02.
