    This.

    The light pattern is the same as well. But they are interchangeable.

    If you're looking to swap for either or, keep an eye in the For Sale forum. Once members get their hands on JDM or different heads altogether, their old sets quickly go up for sale.

    I think the OP has just asking about USDM heads, they were all single beams, the JDM/EDM heads are dual beams.

    Yeah I was referring to the USDM only. But since we on that topic, are the JDM headlights the same size and fitting?

    Trimming of what? The Grill, bumper, headlights???

    What would be the combos (Headlights/grille/bumper) that would need modification? Examples:

    * JDM Headlights w/stock grille - w/stock bumper.
    * USDM headlights - w/stock grille - w/VR4 bumper.
    * JDM headlights - w/JDM grille - w/stock bumper.
    * USDM Headlights - w/JDM grille - w/stock bumper.

    For JDM heads, you would have to trim the radiator support to get them to fit. You could cut the JDM heads instead, but then you could expose the interior of the lights to the elements if you don't seal them up some sort of way. Check the sticky in the Knowledge Base for more info:

    ^^Make sure to read the whole thread.

    Now, the USDM and JDM heads have different lengths (JDM's are longer) and that affects the grill fitment. Your best bet is using a JDM grill with JDM heads, but you can use the USDM grill with some mods:

    ^^You would definitely need to mod your grills this way if you have the '02-'03 bumper and didn't want to use a JDM bumper or '99-'01 one. Other than that, the bumper need not be messed with to use the JDM heads. And using a JDM grill with USDM heads leaves gaps and is discouraged. Hope this helps!

    Thanks a lot. That definitively help. I wasn't sure what fit with what. I may just go ahead with JDM heads and grille and leave my stock '01 bumper alone for the mean time. thanks again.
