Have vsited briefly in the past, quite a bit into the past but now saying hello after getting into ownership of a 7g Galant 2.0 V6-24V
Have had 8G VR-4 saloon and a couple of VR-4 estates plus a 7G VR-4 (Sport GT) in NZ but circumstances changed and wanted a cheaper runabout whilst retaining Galant V6 power and reliability
Bought a 2.0 Galant saloon V6-24V. Miles over 100k but good body condition and it had auto box, air con, sun roof, and cruise control - very nice - smooth and lovely sound...
Unfortunately whilst getting car sorted for an imminent MoT and having lubricants and other stuff changed/renewed, dreaded rust in rear passenger footwell discovered
Would add pics here but not certain how to put them in my post
Not really certain if it can be repaired economically so may have to be left for a while, decide what to do or just sold for spares/scrap
Anyone had any experience in dealing with rust/holes in rear footwells?

Hi Chris, missed this thread. Welcome.........
Had a similar Galant before my current 8G. Could never get over just how free revving that engine is. Have you made any further moves on the footwell? Nothing is impossible, just depends how far you want to go.
Good luck
Welcome!
