I was going to suggest removing the benz symbol lol are you going to change the color of the lens? Maybe a red tint?

Yeah the Benz logo was the first thing that had to go. I may dremel it out of the led ring, then paint the led shroud flat black to blend in with the housing.

I'm not sure yet what to do with the center chrome section. I'll either spray the reflector with Testors transparent red spray paint, or find red lens somewhere that I'll cut and fit to the center of the led shroud.

This guy on club3g did something similar. He had chrome tyc tail lights and the same led tails. He took out the red lenses from the chrome ones and put them into the led tails. It just happens that those red circle lenses fight perfectly into the led tails.

These are from Crimson's thread and these tails were built by him

I tried looking for the exact one I was speaking about but I couldnt find it. What the guy did for these was since he already had black tyc tails, he just took out the led ring from the led tails and put them in his black tyc tails.

That's exactly the look I'm going for! Now I'm getting all excited haha. Especially with mine being the same color it gives me the visual I had in my head before its even done.
