Damn in MD it's only $14 every two years for emissions only (except in St. Mary's county, lucky bastards), we only do a safety inspection at the time of vehicle purchase and that's for used cars only. Used car dealers already do this, only when you buy as-is or from a private party will you have to get your own inspection, to the tune of $60-$70.

Jersey is emissions only too. You can go in with tinted windshield, hids and all and still pass as long as the vehicle is running properly(emission wise). Although you can still get ticket for the hids and tints lol

Too bad you don't know GM PCMs, that dreaded P0420 code has been a nuisance to me ever since I replaced the OEM cat when it clogged. New O2 downstream sensor and new cat (second one since the original clogged) and it still spits out the P0420 code. >:[

Yeah. New york is $37 for a year. Im happy that im able to use stock pcm to do my mods without failing emission.

Pfffh! Cali makes you get your car Smog Checked every other year once your car is more than 5 years old. And any model of car that get listed as a "gross polluter" needs to get checked every year. Usually once your car gets up in age, your going to have to get it checked every year. And when its every year you have to go to a "Smog Test Only Center", instead of a "Smog Test and Repair Center". To the tune of about $60 per test; which includes them scanning your ECU for codes, and monitoring the levels of chemicals emitted from your exhaust pipe.
We don't have safety inspection tests though, I guess they leave that to the CHP (California Highway Patrol) who love to pull over modified cars and hand out tickets.

I got my wedspsorts lug nuts, HKS BOV w/ pipe kit, and ZKW-R clear lens to upgrade my projectors. Installing the Advan's today.

Thanks man. Really nice lug nuts and very lightweight. It does have a nice and unique pattern for locks to.

I was thinking to get the project kics R40 coz I like the two piece design and spins the seating ring. Which project kics you got?
