Nah i aint racist! I guess I'm ignorant because I didn't believe that was a racist term anymore. The Japanese are amazing. I studied karate for over 10 years and plan to go back after school. There's no way i can be racist to them
i wasnt aware "jap" was a racist term
I would argue that its more of a nationalist term. I knock on Mexicans all the time. Doesn't make me racist one bit. Nationalist maybe, but I'll argue to the end that Mexico sucks.
Back on topic.

Good shit bro..anyways I'm working on painting the shifter bezel again. I saw on here that someone painted their tan lower dash black. I believe it was beam....anyways I noticed that the tan interior that the top is darker tan than the bottom. To me I think it would look better if the darker color (black) was on top. What do you guys feel about this?

Japanese here. If someone calls me a Jap, we're going to have a problem.
I don't call my hispanic friends spics, and I don't call my black friends ******s.
It wasn't okay back then, and it's not okay now.
If you want to abbreviate Japan, why not just use JP? That's one less key to type than Jap and it's not offensive.
edit: one of the words got auto-starred
Ok sorry all had no idea. I wasn't calling someone that but referring to a product. I didn't know this would happen. I actually love the Japanese culture and went there for a few weeks years ago and like I said before I went to karate from 8-18 learning Shi Do Kan which is a huge passion of mine that I plan to keep pursuing.
good, now i know.
Learned something new today, I had no idea. I've never used the word but if ever I would have it would have been to be short not racial.
