Dont the mini H1's screw into the existing bulb hole with h4 adapter washers and what not

The way it works is by opening the headlight, removing the cover that sits in front of the stock bulb (held by screw), remove the hardware that holds the stock bulb in place, simply place the projector with the H4 adapter that is included, it is notch so that it mounts perfectly straight as in the cutoff is line connecting 9 and 3 o'clock (not 10 and 4 or 8 and 2). Then just tighten the threaded base with the supplied nut from behind the reflector and that's it, now need for screws, epoxy or any cutting or dremeling. Put lens back on and do your aiming using the stock adjustment.

Headlight fitment looks off...

But the grille looks interesting, color match it, it would look unnoticeable in black.

Remember the projector goes on through the front and the H4 adapter slides on through the back followed by the nut. With mine I also used the bigger silicone spacer, that one goes on the projector base before you mount.
