^^^ They do say made in china. But they seem to be built very well. It's missing the brake line support clip but it provides 2 spots to bolt some 10mm bolts to.

I'll keep it updated good or bad. I don't need the car other than winter lol, so should be fine.

I want to see a full car pic and one with the hub caps on. I like lowered cars on hubcaps better than steelies. Or get some nice wheels yo.

The plugs wires are just from CarQuest, nothing fancy. I am still getting the tune dialed in right now before we start throwing other parts into the mix. Battery will be moved to the trunk/hatch.

I just left the caps off since I'm throwing my wheels on in a couple days.

That's actually very normal......always the first half of the gas gauge will move slowly, and you think you have great MPG; but the second half , the needle will move faster to empty. It has happen to me in every car I have owned. If you are getting 220 miles at half tank, your second half should give you about 100-120 miles approx.

And don't 8g/3g's have like 15ish gallon tanks?

That'll still only be like 25ish mpg?

8G's have a 16.8 gal tank, but I struggle to put 14 gallons in even if I drive for a whole day with my gas light on and my needle hanging past the last tick. I can get about 300 miles reliably out of those 14 gallons. Still, 220 at half is good, usually I know I'm gonna get to 300 to the tank if I'm around 170-180 miles at the half-tank mark, so 220 is good. I usually only do highway miles. Considering the relative inefficiency of the 6G72, 25mpg is great!

Oh, and what dmdvzla said is soooo true, the second half of the tank in every car I've ever been in flies compared to the first half. At Lincoln Tech, my fuels teacher explained it as the float arm gets trapped between the top of its travel and the fuel BEFORE you fill it all the way up, so the float won't begin to move until you use some of the gas to the point where the float is actually floating on the fuel again. I know my needle won't move from the full position until around 90 miles after fill up, it was like 110 miles in my 4-cyl. Now my wife's minivan (and her truck before it) didn't exhibit that characteristic, but my old van and my parents' Ford Focus did, and my wife's old Cavalier did too.

Yea but fillups rarelypass 13.5 gallons unless you run your shit dry which will came back and bite you on the fuel pump.

My 3G was like that too.

But the needle in my G is so out of whack I just go for gas as soon as the light comes on.
My needle wont touch the 'F' after filling up (3 forced clicks after pump stops) it will sit right under the line, and when the needle gets near the 1/4 mark thats when the light comes on. So freakin wierd Lol! But I know my car and I have never ran out of petrol. When I got it I ran the tank completly dry 3 times to see how many miles from when the light shoes to being completely empty (Had a 5 gallon jug in trunk everytime ready to go). I got 70 miles all highway about 58 mostly city but babying it and around 60 mixed. So when my light comes on I know theres a sure 50 miles in it, but I usually go 15 before I decide to go break the bank at $4.19 a gal.
