Paint will come out ok if u prep and take your time and do it right. But powdercoat will hold up longer.

got my JDM mirrors in the mail today...



glass is broken. Guess I'll just swap both sides to the mirage glass.

That's better since the JDM mirrors are RHD and won't give u the right viewing angle anyway.

Good idea. Another good tip, since they are folding mirrors, kink in your right side mirror a bit. Since they are meant for a RHD car, the angle of the right mirror is more outwards than inwards. I do that for when I'm doing a fairly long trip in the Galant.

I'm sorry but that's a half ass solution why not just do it the right way and not have to worry about it every time

Parts for rear disc swap, parts for rear sway bar add on, ASA, and got my IP blocked from trademotion for getting the pert number and prices for the galant. On the bright side I do have the don herring mitsubishi prices for 5960 parts on the 2000 galant

I picked up a V6 manual trans and an Actron CP9580 today.

EDIT: The trans is from an 2000 eclipse and they said it had 45,xxx miles on it, got it for $650, they also had another 2000 with 156,xxx miles for $500.

Got some air gauges and installed in my dash (now i can tell how much pressure i have in my air bags all the time and in my air tank) washed my car and bought a new (coconut)air freshner,changed my air lines from 1/2 inch to 3/8 and finally finish my stereo system,fixed my billet grill.will post pics as soon as i can find time,hahahaha..

i never had an issue with it, those are my old mirrors, i saw perfectly in them

Not really. You can put in the correct mirror, but still have the issue of the mirror's angle (the base) still too far to see.

The base isn't angled any differently, its all in the glass. The only way there could even possibly be a slight difference is in how far you can adjust each side. However it won't ever matter as I would doubt that anyone would ever max either side out.

With the JDM glass still installed u would Max out the passenger side all the way in and still be too far out. And driver side would be maxed out all the way out and still not the right angle. I'm gonna install the mirage lenses soon and test the difference.

Yep on the passenger side it can only go so much inwards, and I did not use mirage mirrors i cut the glass on the USDM mirror to fit where the JDM mirrors sit.

Did the stock glass help the viewing angle??
