What the fuck?

Third?
I posted that before I had to go to work. I didn't have much time for explaining then, but basically a dude landed on my car after jumping from the second floor of his gf's apartment. Cops were saying they got a domestic violence call from the girl because he was beating her, a runs out the back and dives wrists first into my car as that is where it was mentioned that he was bleeding from. I was chilling playing a little Mario Kart Wii, when I here a thud outside and my alarms remote is beeping that the shock sensor was triggered. I said to myself, "The alarm is on minimum sensitivity it would take a hard-ass hit."
So I threw the kicks on and went out side to discover my car in what I though was pristine condition, but squad cars were all over and no officers around (setting up perimeter) so I knew something was up. I got a closer look and seen my trunk cover in debris, then I see the back window shattered and blood on the floor, the trunk, and a trail that leads be to some guy under a truck. I signal cops over and he tries to limp away but gets tazed down. The rest is in the pictures.
Where the trunk is dented in at the edge.
Idiot got tazed to the floor.
This is where the cops were telling to get back so I could get clear shots of the guy.
What his fall was from the top of the carport to the comfortable pillow that is my car.
Anyway, the trunk is dented the window is gone all thanks to this douche scumbag broha.
I don't have renters insurance but then again, its not my apartment that got damaged or broken in to. Who should I hold responsible here, the punk? His bitch?
Ain't that some shit?! Eww you got this punk's blood on your car, that is awful man. Call your insurance for sure, that's gotta be a good $500 in damage if not more. Chances are because he was in a common area the damage would be all on him, but I don't know the law. In some instances, say he were to break in your house and fall like that and injure himself, he could sue you. You know I know from experience Vic, the law kinda gives victims no recourse when shit like this happens, you just gotta have good insurance. Sorry to see this shit bro, looks like he was covered in blood too. At least your tints kept the glass debris to a minimum.

man thats crazy i hope your ins. covers that
what type of insurance do you have? was he running from the police when he jumped or did he jump just as they got outside the building? If he was running running from the police at the time he jumped then he is responsible for the dmg and you can get the money from the city comptrollers office. youll have to have the D.A. add property dmage charges to the case so make sure you file with the polide dept that arrested him. after he is sentenced, they will just take it from his so called prison pay and or extend his time for "Public property damage" to cover the cost. in the meantime if you have glass coverage that will get it fixed till you can get the reimbursment check. get the police report and file the charges befor you get the insurance to pay out so that they can put in the code that will keep your premium from going up at your renewal.
sorry to hear. if anyone asks, tell them it's your glory hole....
Wow well sucks that this happened but you definitely have the most out of the box accident story to tell.
Thanks for the suggestions fellas. I know, what are the odds!
Unfortunately the G's only have liability so insurance claim is out. I still don't think renters insurance would cover. But I still have to go to talk to the apartment complex manager tomorrow, I was told that they are opening the office on Sundays and that she will be the one to cover the desk, so I will definitely be going over.
I'm either gonna hold her to her statement "Get this renters information" Telling the assistant manager as she points to my car, I told her then and there it was me and she said "Get a police report, obviously we are going to take care of it"
If not, I will be seeking the renters information to apartment 58. In our lease it states any tenant shall be held responsible for damages caused by their guests.
What do you guys think?
The complex should take care of it. It happened on their property and its a private property and they should be liable for it. That's why they have insurance after all. I could be wrong. But pursue that route.
