I like the stock OEM look. Those are for the evo wheels but for the 19" wheels I won't need them.

sounds like a fun project! good luck w/ it. btw, most HUD systems project on to a reflective screen or onto a reflective "tint" section applied to the inside of the windshield or embedded in the windshield... w/o that tint section or screen, the HUD will appear as a double image since it will be reflecting on both the inside surface AND outside surface of the glass. also how many input wires are actually on the HUD unit for all those features? if there are less than the sensors it is displaying from, then you might need to pull the original translator as well and possibly reverse engineer it to work w/ the inputs from your stock sensors/ECU. it might be a good idea to also get the "hood" or glare shield that it part of the donor's dash, that should make it easier to embed the unit in your dash and keep direct light from hitting the unit and reflecting back to the windshield washing out the display. did you also get the HUD switch control units?

good LED bulbs would work well; i have those (JDM PFL tails) and all my bulbs are LED except the reverse... 50W high output 1156 there. btw, the all clear version are illegal in some states unless you add red reflectors on the rear of the car since you have to have red reflectors in the rear according to most if not all state vehicle codes.

installed the front exhaust manifold and the passenger's side motor mount in the last 4 hours, if I could find the lower bolt for the alternator and some gasket material for the lower timing cover, I could get back to driving my car again

Why can't u find the specs on the bolt u need and go get it from the parts store.

And that gasket material for the timing cover isn't necessary u can install it without it.

I never thought about the reflector thing. Good to know. So what type of leds do you recommend for the tail lights?

I tinted them darker sand n polish. Pfl compared to fl tails are wayyyyy brighter. They were really lightly tinted when I received them so I did a little darker. N they look like new just darker lol
