I am a firm believer that ss lines are a must thing to get fusion they definitely improve the braking.

I've never had. Would like to try, but I'm too concerned with making the car look cool >_>

  5. #6165
yeah, no need for brembos unless you actually drive the car hard. get a good street pad with cheap blanks, good fluid, ss lines actually help with feel.

I've always ondered about SS brake lines on a daily driver. Does it really make that big of an imporvement?

Installed a two-tone dash. Love the black and grey look. My dash was cracked in half so I installed an Accu-Form dash cap. The fit was ok. I had to trim in some places. I would have liked a better fit and the grain of the dash cap doesn't match the stock grain but it's certainly way better the a cracked up dash. I used VHT vinyl dye at first but it didn't stick very well. So I used a black bumper coating and it worked perfectly. Nice deep semi-gloss black color and it's made to hold up.

^^That looks good. I may have to go that route too since my dash is cracked. I miss my old G, that dash was perfect lol.

In other news, finally got my loose wheel lock situation straight. It took me three trips to Sears, one to Harbor Freight and past a tire shop just to see if they could do it, but I'm straight. I just can't get a flat between now and tomorrow when I go to work since I don't have a vise to clamp down on this socket to knock the old lock out:

    16MM 12-point worked perfectly.

    Old wheel lock:

New one, it's the open style:

They won't be on long, I don't like open lugs and next week I'll invest in some better lugs all around since these are rusty as hell now. I may just get them powder coated though.

Got it from ebay. It's the Accu-Form brand. $135 shipped. I think the Dashcap brand might be a little better. IDK though. It comes in black but since I had to paint the windshield vents and the airbag cover I just sprayed the overlay too so the colors matched perfectly. Plus the dash cap had a little discoloration in it so it needed to be sprayed to be perfect anyway.

All my vise grips are at work......smart I know. I may just say fuck it and buy some later when I go back out and do that, but I'll wait for the shade to come over where I'm at.

Edit: Plus it's hard as hell to find Wise products down here anymore.

In that case, I like the kappas but for me it was huge upograd eas I had dual illumites before it, I hear the kappas are a abit "bright" ob the tweeters meanin the voices are a bit sharper I think, I def noticed it, the one below kappas were said to be pretty good if u go 2 ohm again, if not, then I have no clue on speakers
