I have always favored polk and infinity for clean mids and highs at a good price.

But the issue is what will fit in the rear without taking out the torsion bars or cutting a hole in the rear deck. N what does coaxil mean??

i remember on my old G i replaced the rear deck speakers with some nice infiniti's but the magnet was so big i had to get rid of the torsion bars, so i just held it the lid up a tall ice scraper when ever i was in the trunk lol, worked just fine.

Crutchfield has a good site, it list all the dimensions for the speakers so you can make a comparison to the oem size. this way you can get speakers close to stock. im no audio guy but thats where i would start to do some research

I personally have infinity reference in the trunk, the magnets are huge and if it weren't for some spacers the speakers came with they would have not cleared those damned bars, with the spacers they just clear the them. It's a tight fit but I made it happen. Also I didn't cut the rear deck cover nor did I mount the speakers over it (something about the way mitsu fitted the 6x9's that I don't like so I keep them covered.)

I have Kickers front and back. Love them, but I've always been partial to them. The highs will make you blink like you're sitting next to a snare drum.

heres a video i found from a quick search if you look at any of the other ones there over kill they have like 3 - 6 of these in each door of the car
( i dont even think this guy even has them amped..)

What ive learned from kappas is they start to get that speaker burning smell if you amp them and play them loud for long peroids of time but these can handle any clean rms you throw at them

It looks great but I'm going to have to reglue it tomorrow. I used 3M 77 and it's not quite strong enough for the headliner. There are a few spots where it started to sage a bit. I'm going to redo it with 3M 90 tomorrow. That should do it. Other fabrics you could use are suede or a micro-suede. Those would look good. I really like the look of the vinyl. Buy 2 yards of fabric off of a 54" wide roll and you'll have plenty to do your headliner.

I'll post pics tomorrow. Now I just need to figure out how to open these damn visors!!!!

Yeah, that's right they do have that material.

I pulled off the headliner as it was already coming off in the back but all the foam stayed on the headliner so I just glued over that.
