Whatever happened to this project?
Mother of God
I can't believe you squeezed 2JZ-GTE into 8G, that 8G is SICK !!!
I did swap engine too but mine using 6G72TT FL from 3000GT FL :

judge from yours and mine, 2JZ-GTE with its tranny really need lot of space and the bay eh ?

Hi everyone,
It has been a while. I had other priorities in my life and I had to shut this project.
I stopped this project at the point where I was tuning it on Dyno year and a half ago.
The clutch was slipping and the gearbox had blown up.
Here we go again
First day: Car being taken to the garage
Deserted Engine Bay
Old Gearbox was taken out with a huge crack
Replacement Gearbox
Exedy Hyper Metal Compe-D twin plate clutch + ARP Flywheel Bolts + OEM Bearing
Clutch goes in and break-in period starts
Finally, Body Paint
Fender Flares
Custom Headlight Painting
Result
Shiny Engine Bay
Later on, I hit a big hole in the street and because the car was lowered, I broke the engine subframe :(
And I got it replaced with another one
Custom Air Intake
Cold Air Intake through the fog lights
VR-4 Badges ( if anyone needed the part numbers )
AIM MXL Digital Dash
Connected to AEM EMS 2 Series
Interior back on
To the Dyno
This was my first tuning using AEM 2 and I am pretty satisfied with the results
535 HP @ 20 PSI using Fuel Pump Gas
Dyno Run: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XV2k4CUzLo
I will keep updating ..
Very nice!!!

Very nice work. What torque numbers did you get on the dyno?
If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.
Wow on top of all that you got an AIM MXL, how hard was it to wire to the AEM or is this the one that has an adapter harness? Man your RWD swap is giving me crazy ideas!!!
OMFG that sound coming from a galant is orgasmic LOL
The "Tumbler" Is HereStock Longblock/Stock PCM | Custom Garrett 50-1 | 17 Psi | Weighing 2xxxLbs3xxWHP/3xxWTQ [Current]
Thanks
Sorry, The dyno was not set to measure the torque. Maybe the next dyno run
It is was pretty simple. Just connect the dash to the CAN Channel and it will give you all the readings available in the AEM EMS
Yup, Hahahahahaha !
Great job man! I'm sure people told you not to do it and it's going to be a lot of work. Congrats on going above it all and getting it done!
