Naw, I don want to invest anymore money into anymore. My original plans were to do a 5spd swap, evo8 turbo/IC setup, and fix some cosmetic blemishes. All that would run me another few grand and Im just not interested in spending the money for it...

I've continued to mod it even though I've felt Im at the end of the road with the car, but it only works temporarily until Im right back to square one. Not even entertaining the idea of doing a part-out, would only be looking to sell it as a whole. The car has been great to me, and Im thankful for that. Who knows I may or may not regret it later on, but I think the time has come...

I know the feeling, after I wrecked my gold 8g I was going to just get a dsm. But then I was like, no way, boosted G ftw!

In all honesty, I think you will regret selling it and wish you still had it. Don't sell it unless you have to, be the guy that has had the car for 30+ years. You will get in something else and wish you could have had this as a project... I talk to qnz about this all the time, he still says first with 8k will get it haha.

Damn. I'll be sad to see this go. With the rate of things around here, whoever buys it will probably crash it in the first month, haha (jk). If your mind is set, then I can understand.

I still regret selling my silver G and haven't been content with the new one yet. Who knows, maybe a few changes here and there will fix that, but I'm sure as long as you upgrade to a better ride, you'll be satisfied.

Guess the remaining white G's need to step their game up!

Lol! If someone came to me with $8K it'd be gone in a heartbeat too lol! I know times are hard though and selling cars isnt as easy as it used to be, so I think $6500 is a fair price for the TGC family. I may or may not regret it like I said before, but I know I prob wont be that guy having it 30+ years either lol

Yeah this trend of members selling their G's and new owners crashing them doesnt warm my heart at all lol! I have really been wanting to get a 2001 Q45t for the longest time, or a 1998-05 GS300/430. Not to go VIP with it though. I just like the luxury, comfort, HP, and size of them. Not to mention RWD ;) If I get one of those I would only be interested in wheels, exhaust, and maybe just maybe a mild drop.
Initially my family outgrew the G, but then we got the Yukon Denali which fixed the problem of not having a big enough family car. Now its back again to me just wanting another car. This is actually the longest I've ever had a car, and the most I've ever invested into a car...

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Everyone's getting rid of their cars lately. I understand why, but it still sucks. The 8G's are getting old and the 9G doesn't appeal to everybody. All in all Will you gotta do what you feel. IVORY's so clean though, hopefully if you do go through with it you can find a buyer who will appreciate the car. Good luck bro!

I'd give it some time and think it over a while. I personally wish I kept mine. Every now and then I wonder if I made the right choice. The evo is loads of fun but I would've loved to do the awd 4g63 swap just because it's so unique and seeing a well done galant is a pretty rare sight. Of course everyone has their own reasons for everything. If you decide to keep it though and ever want to continue your original plans for it let me know. Eventually I'll be selling my front mount and stock turbo. Also, I know the meets have died down but I think It would be cool if the so cal tgc guys met up at the KKT meets which are every 3-4 months. I've gone to a few more since the last one we went to and they were pretty laid back with no problems. The last one even had news coverage because there were over 3k people that showed up lol.

My galant is my first car ever and bought it new at that, it's been 12 years now. Only reason I am keeping it when my son turns 16 I am giving it to him, but if some offered me 8k I sell it too lol

I'd sell both mine for 8k. But let's be real nobody will dish out that much cash on these cars simply because they don't understand their mods and reasons behind them, to them its a 10 year old mid size mitsubishi, nothing more nothing less :(

Lol! Yeah its been fun and I've learned a lot, but its just like I really dont want to spend as much money as its gonna take for me to finish the build. Then I dont even think I would still want to keep it after that...

Yeah I like being the different one in the bunch, I give more credit for those that are being unique like Galant owners. 3K people?! Sheesh! Thats crazy! LOL! I'd still be down to meet up even if I sell my G...

LOL! Wow you have your car a long time bro! Thats a good reason to keep it around, I thought about that too for my son, but he's only two as of next month lol!

Well I agree and disagree, some people might but most probably wont. I'm pretty sure it would take a long time to find a buyer willing to pay $8K though, especially with the economy's current status. KBB is around $3-4K still for our cars, it just depends on the buyer.

Your build is beautiful, and really gave me a lot of ideas for my car.
When I went through the first few pages, the copious amounts of chrome put me off, but I see that over the years your style has evolved. As it stands, if I had the cash, I'd buy your car!
But it does make me sad to see you selling it, but I hope for the best for you.
When you do finally get her sold, what are you going to be looking at getting into? If you're looking at sedans, the new Nissans are pretty sexy. I got my G from a Nissan dealer, and I kept drooling over the new Maximas.

Thx man, I really appreciate that. Yeah I initially started out with the chrome because I was trying to veer away from the tuner scene, and it was the style out here in Cali @ that time. It has gone through a lot of changes over the years, & not to mention a number of different wheels too lol! I'm looking right now for a good daily driver for my wife to have. She currently has a much longer commute than I do, and neither I nor her are comfortable with her driving my car. And being that I feel Im at a crossroads with the car again, Im just ready to move on. So I would be looking for something along the same lines but without a car note. Right now there is a possible trade deal for another Galant with some cash on top in the works. So we'll see how it goes :)

Thx for taking the time to look through my build. My hopes in this build were function and form without excess. I hope that everyone can learn something from my experiences and inspire others to change the game.
