I finally got my 5 speed in, yay. It feels so good to finally get it in. I know very little about cars and I work in a grocery store so I had no idea what I was doing and I did 95% of the labor. HUGE shout out to spdracr, QnzMostWanted, Silvertune, and Guzm4n for helping me out. I need to replace atleast one o-ring in my coolant system and then I can start it and drive it.

Taped up my stock intake for the second time to stop the vacuum leak where the resonator used to be, this time used a half roll of electrical tape. I need an intake, this shit works but it's janky as hell and it doesn't last very long, a few months at best:

on a side note, i rebuilt the G starter with new brushes, and i forgot to take pics, also its still the original starter from 2000, theres a mitsubishi sticker still on it,

^^^ if u use 2 rolls of tape it will last twice as long... I have an extra ro or two laying around if you need extra lmaooooofff

I was getting ready to PM you when I couldn't get the trans in but i found the secret for the V6 swap: have the engine on a cherry picker with the passeger mount removed but put a nut and big washer on one of the passenger engine mount studs and with a ratcheting strap connected to that mount and to the top of the chain on the cherry picker and ratchet until the engine is diagonal enough to put the trans in.
