ups brought me a present todayyyyyy!!!!!
not sure if i wanna do quick release. i dont have any need for it and i cant stand those tools that can get in and out of their cars no problem meanwhile they find it necessary to hang their wheel on the rearview or even bring it around with them as a "security measure".......that and ive got some friends that will almost always steal it whenever i leave the car at a show or somewhere with the window open. ive got a stock wheel hub where i cut off the center part where you bolt it to the column so maybe ill tig something to that and just keep a fixed wheel. as for the lug nuts, im not sure how they will last to an impact gun. im not one to use a ratchet when removing wheels. i spent over $2500 on impact guns and sockets alone, i might as well use them.
ups brought me a present todayyyyyy!!!!!
YES!!! Always wanted to see a G on aggressive Grids/TE's
4g64T 5spd
18x9.5 +20 offset. I wanted to run a +38 offset but i can't with the brembos. I remember seeing bjs car with thw same size/offset rota torques but thwy still stick out a little too much.
Those wheels are going to look sick on the g

i think with a roll, pull, camber and maybe some fender flares it'll fit fairly well. i still do have no camber in that picture. gotta remove the camber kit on the upper control arm in the rear and the coilovers got the camber plates up front.
not much of an update. turns out the wiring is gonna be a bigger nightmare than i originally thought. notttt looking forward to it. just got to pull the dash today to get to the harness and close up the evap core hole. thinking about doing a nice tuck while ive got the harness completely out and accessible. been trying to figure out what accessories i wanna just disregard when i put this thing back together. the simpler the better, thats for sure. picked up a set of evo 9 enkeis as winter rims and for now ill just throw a set of used tires on for now until i do the body work (rolling, pulling and installing fender flares) to fit the rims. i will probably end up blasting these and painting them silver, yano, the way theyre supposed to be.
why are you removing the wiring?
because i have an evo 8 harness, im running an evo 8 ecu, and i just dont trust those guys at boomslang to make me a harness.
yea i hear you on that. if you could that would be freakin awesome. i have a set of pigtails for the evo 8 that i bought from greddy not too long ago and ive got 2 galant harnesses and an evo 8 and evo 6 harness that i can always piece together if i have to. i know if i had a pinout diagram i could probably figure it out easier.
Boomslang is worthless. They've botched the last three wire jobs I've heard coming out of that joint. I'd rather spend two days under the dash than deal with them again.
Been there... Fuck boomslang

interesting, my boomslang harness was perfect when it showed up, got it two days after ordering, car fired right up on the first try.

Yay more parts! If only I had as many progress posts than I do parts posts I think I'd be done by now haha
Got the evo 9 enkeis, a little darker than in the original pic but I like it!
Helix cam gears to match the calipers!
You can't really see much but she's photobombing this one. The giant intercooler is the majority of what you can see. As for tge honda, its a tsx with euro type r lips lowered on d2s. Clean car, hence why I was taking pics of it haha
Is the tsx yours??
