    Dang. Congrats on the newborn.

Weather forecast is clear... High 70 and Low 50-55 (50 degrees happens for like a minute at 5am then it starts to climb again)

As far as the trunk garnish, shave or paint black and stick back on if you must let the people behind you that youre in a Galant like they've never seen before.

    Don't shave

I shaved mine but only because it is not worth having on. Think of it as a badge of pride. You and your G deserve to have all of its badges. It is much nicer than a lot of Galants that i have seen out there, i include mine in that statement.

    Keep it on

I debadged all mine except the star..but my car is silver all around. I like it on your trunk cause its a way of tying in the black with the silver still, and it looks classy on the black. Also congrats btw

Shaved...like it better already..I think, besides I figure if I want the letters back I'll just order a set of crispy ones from "Mitsubishi" and put them back on

Meh, not really. Sure L.A is close and so is SD but thats all. Emissions parts are a pain to acquire. We still one of the highest taxed states. You'll love not having inspections like the east coast states. All we really get hit with is smog but theres always a way if you need it.

Finally got the G back together, Replaced all the 5spd trans bearings and oil seals, installed the LSD, Installed Comp Clutch stage 3.5(pedal is a little hard but I'll get used to it), brand new clutch release fork, pivot ball and TOB, filled the trans with Redline MT-85. Also installed all 4 prothane motor mount inserts (Vibration has increased significantly but I don't mind). Everything is together and after playing with adjusting the master cylinder push rod trans feels like new, really solid shifts and reverse isn't hard to get into anymore.

Once the clutch is broken in I'll be adding a MBC to put a little more psi's on the system, a little coilpack upgrade and hopefully will get it tuned early august ;)

I've still yet to do my 5 SPD swap. I'm so jealous, once I get to Cali and with my own crib and a 2 car garage...I'm gonna be goin to work on the G.
