someone posted a pic on the first page i believe, i know i just saw it recently
Been five+ months since this topic was dropped last. 5+ months. How about some pics, would love to see some. That has got to be a bad-assed feeling knowing you have that motor in there. Damn, how much was the final $ damage?

Are we still talking about all motor in this thread?
ok, yall started in January right as did I but to make you feel better about a car thats not yours yes Clays car is "finished" first. Happy now ?Originally Posted by UncleMeat
the motor sitting too low? is it hitting the crossmember that holds the front motor mount?
what part is givin you trouble, the space between the rear cross member and the transfer case was a problem when test fitting an awd tranny in an 8g
not trying to start any wars, just keep facts straight
now tell me whats the deal with the subframe
Nah the undercarrage of the V6 is different then the I4 so the subframe mounts about 2" lower nothing significant just another mound to get over.Originally Posted by UncleMeat
are we talking about the front crossmember that goes front to back? the part that is removable, with the motor mount on it?
are you using usdm galant tranny or jdm galant tranny?
No the rear subframe that the back motor mount sits on, also where the rack and pinion is located. I would be able to use the jdm crossmember which would fit perfectlyOriginally Posted by UncleMeat
yeah, that is the subframe that keeps the usdm chassis from accepting an awd tranny
what tranny are you using?
i havent looked too much into jdm subframes with the rack and pinion, would you have to swap to RHD to make the jdm subframe and rack and pinion work?
yup the very one, the USDM I4 subframe is just over weight lol. Im using the awd trans actually. the USDM subframe is damn near identical to the jdm so I made a visit to the junk yard. I have an idea on what to do to get pass this spacing issue but other then that the car is done.Originally Posted by UncleMeat
