Rack and Pinion

My steering became very stiff today and ultimately after taking it to a mechanic, I found out my rack and pinion has gone bad and it needs to be replaced. Any suggestions on where I can find the part at a decent price? Also, is $300 for labor including alignment reasonable?

The labor looks around the same I paid to replace a Corolla's rack and Pinion. I couldn't find a reman from the dealer for cheap, so I bought one from eBay. It served the purpose and cost me about $120. The Galant ones are around $180

Rockauto has it for about $180 as well (Cardone). I looked for a 2003 2.4 Galant.
