Haha thanks :) most of what's done is pretty easy stuff (with the right tools) and I am by no means a guy with any experience when it comes to this stuff...just sorta get an idea and try to make it work ^.^
My goal is to have the bumper done with body work in the next 2 weeks, then ready for paint by July. Will keep updating as I go

Being both a Galant and Lancer owner, I am not so sure about combining the two. Though, I give you mad props for trying something different. Keep it up I am very curious as to how it will turn out painted.

Just don't make the mistake every galant owner seems to make in thinking they're 5 speed swapped galant is a race car. Remember, even with the five speed it's still more turdly than a 3g is bone stock.
If it lights you up more than a pair of double D's you have a problem!
I talked him into it because my experience with the auto says that with the supercharger his box is going to blow up in a month, especially since his isn't doing too well in the first place.
To be fair though, it is a huge improvement, I went from a 17 flat to a 15.3 with just the swap, 15 second quarter times still aren't very fast, but for not adding any power or dropping significant weight its a huge drop in time.
RIP: Colin McRae, you will be missed.
