Well sorry demond but ure 3 mim late the guy at the store recomended a 12-14 gauge but unfortunately he didn't have that so he gave me 30 gauge for the same price.
Dafe than sorry right?
Or maybe overkill?
The OEM wiring is 4 (might be 6 but I don't think it was) make sure it is OFC (oxygen free copper) and a high strand count (that's the flexibility).
Personally if you are pulling a lot of juice (for a big system, airbag compressors, etc.) I would use 0awg...but if you're going to be staying fairly stock on your electrics it's not that huge a deal...
You could also do a big 3 upgrade while you're at it (engine -> ground, bat -> ground, alt -> bat) to help lower resistance...buts that takes a lot of wire with a trunk battery mount

12 and 14 gauge are too small from battery relocation, I've never seen 30 but I can only imagine how thin it is.
I doubt thats the case though, you may have a different way of measuring wire thickness out there so post a pic of what you've got.

0 gauge. only 0 gauge. its about the size of your thumb. Also, if you want to have only one wire from the battery in the trunk to the bay, pm me. I have my alternator back feed through the 0 gauge wire. less wires.
Also 30 gauge is about the size of a human hair. There is no way you have that for your power wire lol
Yeah...just to clarify for ya AWG (American wire gauge) is sorta "backwards" when you talk about it. 00awg (pronounced "double not" OR "double zero") is the biggest said with a gauge. After that you go to inch measurements (I.E. 1/2" or 3/4" etc) and the higher the number the smaller the wire. So 0 > 2 > 4 > 6 > etc...speaker wire is usually around 14-16 depending on what you're using (my sub speaker wire is 6 lol) and here is a picture of 22 gauge next to 4awg (red) and 0 (silver)
Using anything that you said you got would literally burn the wire up...completely

Well seems as tough we have sparked quite the controversy. .
Im gessin the measurement system over here is diffrent...and well at least ours makes sense: bigger numer = bigger wire
Anyway here arw pics of the wire I bought
Galantman03 what are ypu talking about I thought I only had to "extend" the positive terminal wire for the battery to the trunk and then just ground connect the negitive in the trunk.. is there something im not thinking about?
P.s. hope im understandable

The american way is and always has been "ass backwards" if fucking stupid to say the least.
Standard size sockets arw hell to understand thinking of the top of your head, with millimetric sockets you know right away that a 17mm is smaller than a 19, but who the fuck knows which is bigger without looking at the sockets 7/8 or 13/16.....bullshit. (Some backyard mechanic might know and he'll try and remove a valve cover from an import using a 3/8 all day too.

I dont care! I like my gallons, feet, inch, yard and miles. Makes tons of sense in my opinion. Also aviation all over the world uses feet for altitude. So yeah eat it lol. Also sockets are easy, you guys must be lazy lol

Eh... That I kinda miss honestly. Switches on outlets to turn them on and off make sense. Also, you can run 110 from yours, just don't use one phase haha! But at least America all over has one household plug, unlike all of Europe lol

Those im cool with. But the hell with standard sockets...
"Hey Connor, hand me the seven sixty fourth and the eleven thrity second sockets please" (in the gayest voice you can think of) Lol! (And hand me some tape to isolate the *hot* wire to the ignition switch)
