An odd buzz when I hit the throttle, and cruise control won't work

Hey there!

I get this odd buzzing noise, when I hit the gas from an idle.

it lasts a fraction of a second, and sounds almost like the buzzing horn on a police car.

she drives normally, I have no issues, except the cruise control won't work, the lights turn on, but it won't control the speed.

Thanks for any information on either of these two issues.

Cound be the vac line has come loose or the cruise control motor isn't working. Post a pic of your engine bay. You can also find out for yourself in the FSM for the 3G Eclipse.
