speedometer problem, need help ASAP!!!

my indiglo gauges broke or something, so i took them out and left the stock ones in there. My fuel and temp needles are fine. My speedometer is all messed up. The needle doesn't move at all. What the hell? Can anyone help me?

sounds like you broke it.

have u driven the car? possibly at high speeds?

i know first time i thought i broke mine, i rushed my ass to the junk yard to get parts. on the way there, i saw my needle would jump from number to number which led to the conclusion that my gauges weren't sitting right causing my needles to run against them. make sure that the needles are free of obstruction. even teh slightest obstruction can cause them not to move.
