Loving those arm bushings pressed out.
What polyurethane kit did you go with?

Yeap thats what I did. BTW the upper 1 is a different part number, the only different is a 2mm outer lip thickness.
Coilovers came in

BC Extreme Low with swift spring upgrade, and shock inserts to match the swift. 12k Front, 10k Rear. Hoping to tune out a little bit of understeer.
So with this set you wont have that issue where the shock almost hits the axle boot?
«Carlos»
I don't think this resolves that issue.

It will do to the extreme low struts being 25mm shorter. Giving me the same ride height with .5 inch more to go I believe.
I personally cant wait engine updates. (Since im have same block setup).
Maybe i missed it. But ur galant is for road/circuit racing or street car?
Been a busy last week. The car is now on the ground.
I cut the area I needed to cut for the awd swap when that happens

While working on the rear I found that somehow sand sat in the fender wells from the truck and held water so there is some rot that needs to be tended to by the end of summer.

Been a long couple weeks since my last post. The car has been such a huge stress. The machinist who has the bottom end keeps postponing a week. I call him every week saying the same thing.
He has pretty much put this project on a standstill.
Sent out the head for a surface and a valve job, got it back in 3 days.

My biggest fear of this build is that all the time and effort I am putting in there will be something dirty or dingy looking on the car. Because of that I have spent the extra bit of effort cleaning up the head to a better than new finish. The head and all the attached parts will be finished like this. Then protected in ceramic pro.
20150710_235610 by Matt Gartner, on Flickr
Its is very hard to see the finish because of the rough cast, but trust me its icey.

How did I miss this thread. Do you have a pic of the spring adaptors for those BC's and info where to get them? I could really use them, as I'm running 65mm springs as well.
So been some time since I updated but it will be running soon. So prepare for a massive update.

Sanded, polished and cleared. This is the original block to the car.

I like the fact you used longer bolts instead of studs for the spacer on the ex manifold. Also what made you go with the evo non-abs master?

ahhh I see what your saying now. You know what if the nuts look like bolt heads (which Ill be honest I thought they were) the studs may be to short if there torqued down in the pic ending in 010238
