So anyway, back to mufflers.
If you want your car to sound like a sputtering, buzzy, little riced-out civic, get straight pipes and a cannister muffler.
If you, however, want a more refined tone, perhaps a deeper, not louder tone, you may want to go with the flowmaster 60 series and 2.5 or 2.25" piping.
It all depends on what you want.

I have my muffler off, and it sure as hell doesnt sound like a bumble bee. I dont know about the i4s, but the v6 makes a really deep bass.

if you're exhaust is thumpin' you may want to get that checked out.
