Sad to hear. If it wasn't for Matt, TGC may not be here today. My prayers are with his family!
Gentlemen,
A long time member, TGC forum owner, Galant enthusiast, and friend, is not in good health. Some of you guys may know that VegasMatt has been battling stage 4 colon cancer since December 2013. Recently his wife posted that he is not doing well and was brought home from the hospital to spend his last days with his family.
This thread is for us to share stories, pictures, meets, and happy memories of Matt Clason.

Hey Matt! I'm praying for you and your family right now. My Gods blessings shine upon you and them in the finest hour.
Much love and respect to you.

Never exchanged words with the guy...but in a way he's ultimately responsible for joy my car brings me by being the founder of tgc. With that being said Thanks Matt, you're in my prayers!

Him and his family are in my prayers. Keep faith. Respect for creating a great forum and building a clean car.
That is sad to hear. While I never met him, he inspired a lot of us here. Praying for you and your family Matt.
Oh man! My thoughts and prayers go out to you Matt!
Matt is a great guy I had the pleasure of meeting at West Coast MOD 2009. He bought pizzas for all of us because the In 'N Out truck's line was a mile long and we were all starving. He also said that sold me my first set of JDM headlights at a great price. Sad to hear about this, my prayers go out to him and his family.
Matt, thank you for everything you've done for TGC and for the Galant community as a whole. I really wish I would have had an opportunity to meet you in person. I am praying for you and your family during this difficult time.

I always enjoyed seeing Matt's picture in the Vikiing Helmet, but I can't find it!
Wow. Speechless. I remember back in the day our cars were twinsies. I hope whatever time you have left on earth you spend it with those you love most brother. You were always great to us here!

VegasMatt wasn't the first one to answer my question, a couple of years back; but he was the first to get me the right information I needed.
Matt, I'm praying for your family. I hope your soul is as filled with the love of God as your goodness displays!
God's richest blessings to you, Sir!
Matt, you are an incredible person, these past years knowing you have been wonderful lots of fun times lots of laughs. Thank you so much for everything you have done for the galant community and thanks for just being an amazing person. Gods speed buddy TGC loves you. I wish I could have met you in person but hey at least I have some memorable phone conversations with you.

Was about to post the same thing for all the OG's left here. Matt has always been a strong advocate for TGC and he saved TGC from going into the abyss when this forum was struggling. This guy knew how to keep a positive out look on life and I for one am grateful for the words of advice he always had for me. We have lost quite a few members from this board but this one hurts the most.
I almost missed this! I met Matt once at MOD if I remember correctly, just an all around good dude. Silly as fuck which is what the world needs more of! Matt my dude, praying for you and your family!
"Why fart and waste it when you can burp and taste it!"
Rest in Peace, brother!
I loved Matt. I spoke to him all the time on facebook. very sad. TGC OG!
