    Ebay Halos

Any body know if it would be possible to take out the Halos in the Ebay projector lights and replace them with these? I like that these are brighter and I love that more aggressive look these.

    Boy: Wanna have sex?

    Girl: Wanna listen Deadmau5?

    Boy: Wanna do both?

Cop: So you're saying she just exploded?

I remember reading the bmw halos are too big.

I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a little rockier than this.

Measure to see what size you need (I guess that requires you to take them apart first) and go to The Retrofit Source and choose the size that best fits. They have six different ones, all white though, in case you wanted colors.

hey guys yes indeed the bmw ones are too big,i have done 4 sets of Halo conversions in the 8G galants and legnums, the LED units dont seem to be as pure as the CCFL ones,i preferred the CCFL ones much better,

Sorry for digging but what do you mean LEDs are not as "pure"

LEDs tend to have dark spots or shadows. Sometimes you can see the breaks between each LED when more than one is used. CCFL is like a fluorescent light, consistent from end to end.

Oh ok he must be referring to the leds that come with the projectors...I was planning on getting some COB LED Halo rings to use instead of CCFLs...from what I've been reading they are Brighter and Produce less heat...

I'd have to disagree, CCFL are brighter. LED may last longer, and as far as heat goes, its not like CCFL will melt the housing. In fact they dont really get hot.

Na Maybe ccfl are brighter than the little bulbs they put in the ebay projectors but the COB (chip on board) halo rings are definitely brighter than CCFL...

When you judge based on that image only, then yes. The ccfl used there looks very poor.

Thats their own type of rings he's pushing to sell. When you compare the middle led option and ccfl its ccfl hands down.

By all means get the ones he's offering.

IMO accent lighting should remain on the car they were first designed for, for example Halos are a beemer thing and LED strips are Audi. I see too many cars out there resembling the interior of a space shuttle with lights everywhere.

Ya the "Morimoto" is his brand they use COB LED technology...there are plenty companies that use COB LEDs as well which is what I'm referring to...just used that as example. I don't like SMD because of the look of individual dots instead of one solid ring....but to each its own...
