Dented rear bumper fix tutorial

So a week before christmas A jeep backed into my rear bumper. It left a dent about a foot wide and 3 inches deep. It looked terrible!
I went to my local harbor freight and bought a heat gun for like $12. I then applied heat evenly to the entire dent for about 5 minutes or so. After it was heated almost too hot to touch I reached my hand underneath and put pressure from the inside out and the dent popped right out! (A few scrapes from the jeep but the dent is gone!) Since it was already cold outside I just let the car sit out because that hardened the bumper and it retained its original shape. This should work for other models and years, hopefully it will help someone else!
