Led brake light problem

I'm having trouble with some led lights I'm trying to install for my brake lights. The lights work fine when the ignition is off or on accessory, but when I turn the key to on is where the problem is at. The lights light up when the brake is pressed but when the running lights are on the lights won't get brighter when pushing the brake. I have switched out one led with a halogen light and the brake lights function properly while in the on position with the running lights on. The led bulbs are 15w bulbs from ebay

Are you using resistors?

I know this is an ancient post but I wanted to toss my 2c in. Its the bulbs, you need to get different ones meant for your brake lights.
