turns out the crank positioning sensor was taken out by the broken belt. Replxced the sensor and she back on the road.
1998 ES with a 5 speed swap broke the timing belt. Pulled cover and found both timing belt and balance shaft belt broke. Put new timing and balance shaft belts belt on but car wont start, doesn't even fire.
Just did a compression test. Compression; cylinders left (distro side) to right (timing belt side) is 200, 200, 190, 205. Seems like with that kind of compression it should at least fire but it merely cranks. Going to check for spark when I get a chance, What else should I be checking?
