finaly got the new wheels :)

hey guys i finally got my new wheels the advan rcII's. i got them in 17x8.5.

my question is do u think i should go with a 235/40/17 or 245/40/17? my wheels rite now are 18x7.5 and im running 235/40/18s so im guessing i should go with a 245 width due to the extra inch. what do you guys think?

here are my top choices for tires

    Falken FK-451 245/40ZR17 - $113.00

    Yokohama AVS ES100 245/40ZR17 - $120.00

tell me what u guys think i should do.

    here ya go:

    http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

enter in as stock size 25/55r16 (stock on V6's an premium wheels) then wht your desired size will b, just pay attnetion to the width and height differences; you will have to select "end" view.

245/40zr17 will b within 1% of stock circumference but may b 2 wide to fit under the rear fender if you are lowered... you may have to roll your fenders.

ideal is 225/45zr17 on 7.5 wide to avoid any possible clearnace issues. 245 is 20mm wider or about 0.8".
