Why is my wheel noise gone?

Not that I don't mind the quiet operation but...many of you know that I have a driver side wheel croaking noise, and that I have not yet taken it in for a diagnosis yet. Yesterday however, I hit a moderate bump while making a right turn at a pretty good speed, and I heard a ka-clunk. The next time I made a right turn my noises were gone, and each time after. Any ideas on what's going on? Is it coincidence that the noise initially surfaced soon after I had my rotors and pads replaced?

What kind of noise was it exactly? Everytime I accelerate a little bit when Im under 20 mph, I hear this horrible drag sound. Sounds like a metal wire hitting the spokes of my rims.

Man their are so many crazy noises coming from my 8G.

Once I left the coat hanger I used to hang the caliper on my spring and that made a fun noise when I test drove the car.

It's a rythmic croaking noise...usually it's two croaks and a pause, repeat until I either stop or accelerate past 15-20 mph. But oddly enough it went poof.

I've had a similar croaking noise from my tire. More like a clicking noise at higher speeds. I could only hear it well when next to other cars, or a wall.
It turned out to be the hubcaps!
If you have steel wheels with hubcaps, make sure that they are seated well around the wheel. (Kicking them at the points where the metal ring meets the wheel seats them. Not too hard )
After doing this, my clicking noises went away -- this might be what happened to you -- the pothole put the hubcap in its place.
