    dexturing is sanding off all the surface texture on the piece to make is smooth like glass. The factory pieces have a surface texture to keep a natural look, but when it's painted IMO it looks cheap with the texture. On my interior I have everything all smoothed out with no surface texture. I think it makes everything look a lot cleaner, esp on white.
    Just my opinion though.

    Thanks Josh, I did sand down every piece before i put a couple coats of primer then a couple coats of white just to make sure it would stand out....thanks everyone for the replies only cost me 12 bucks to do

    yo thats awesome, go for a black/white leather shift boot, and a carfbon fiber/ white knob. that factory knob looks a little worn and misshapen... wanna come paint my interior?
