so far they look good. with the proper lug pattern and the right tire size, you should have a perfect fit.
They are 19 x 7.5 with a 42mm offset I am just wondering

for tires, i've seen
225/35-19 215/30-19
and the lug pattern 5x114.3mm or 5x4.5"

Yeah I got the lug pattern but I wanted to ask have you seen or know if i would be able to put 225/40 on there or would that not work?
so what if u have neither...and is therr anyway to fix the speedo...or how can u kno how much faster/slower u are goin...cuz aint no way in hell im ever buyin 35's againOriginally Posted by Reelax

are you rollin 18's or 19's?Originally Posted by 8ggalant
here are the sizes that keep the wheel/tire as close as possible to the stock rolling circumference:
225/45zr17 = 0.4% slow
225/40zr18 = 0.8% slow
225/35zr19 = 1.3% slow
i don't think there is a way to adjust the speedo for much percent away from stock...
you can calculate the diff in rolling circumference w/ a little math:
first you'll need to convert all measurements to either standard or metric (tires are metric but rims are standard). 1" = 25.4mm. next take the stock wheel / tire size and figure out how tall it is (diameter)... 205/55r16. to find out how tall a tire is you take the series (profile) times the width. so in this example 0.55 x 205mm = 112.75mm. now take that times 2 (tire on top and bottom of rim) plus the height of the rim (16" converted to mm is 16x25.4mm = 406.4mm). so 406.4mm + 2(112.75mm) = 631.9mm which is your diameter. so to finally find the rolling circumference use the formula Circumference = Pi x Diameter. Pi is approx. 3.1416. rolling circumference of stock is 1985.17704mm.
now just do the same calculations fo the new wheel/tire combo and divide the rolling circumference of the stock by the new circumference and the difference from 100% that you get is how fast or slow your speedo will be... if the quotient you get after dividing is over 100% it's faster than stock and if it's lower than 100% it's slower.
ok my head hurts now, i need to go to sleep.
