I was taking off my lugnuts, and one of them just snapped. The stud that goes through the rotor broke in half. I hear that this is a common problem? Anyways, I need a new lug nut and a new stud. Where can I get them besides the dealer?
Lug nut is 5x4.5" correct?

5x4.5" is the lug pattern. that won't really help you in your case. your problem isn't with the lug pattern is the stud itself. the thread size of the stud is 12x1.5. thats important cuz you will need to know that when buying your studs and the lug nut itself. as for the length of the stud, i heard 30mm but don't quote me on that.
as for where to get them, try a good auto parts store. they should have them behind the counter.
I had this happen to my car three times. I went to NAPA, Discount Auto, Pepboys, and Autozone and all of them didn't really give me the exact match, they were the lug studs designated for the car but didn't match up right. What I finally did was went to the Mitsubishi dealer and bought the studs there. They were only like 20cents more then the parts store. They are about $1.50 at the dealer, nothing that will hurt your pocket, and you get the exact match for it because they usually search the VIN to match the exact part to the car. Hope this helps.
