I paid 200 for lowering springs installed including thrust alignement.
Hi All,
Can anybody quote me an estimate of reasonable (labor) price for installing spring and shock - 4 corners.
TIA.
I paid 200 for lowering springs installed including thrust alignement.

What's a "thrust" alignment, Chip? never heard of that before :?
Hi Chip,
Where did you do that? I live in northern VA, just 40 minutes from Baltimore, MD. I may go there if I cann't find cheap one in northern VA or DC.
Had struts/springs installed today for $100. I'm getting the alignment once I give the new suspension time to settle.
Why don't you just put the springs in yourself? I did mine myself. Took me about 6 hours for shocks, struts, and springs. Not that hard after you get started.
Va_G_Unit you used a machine to compress the springs rite? If you didn't, how'd you do it, I wanna install my own springs to save some dough. Thanks in advance!
I did my own. You can buy little hand held spring compressors at Advance Auto. I have currently AGX's and Tein S Tech springs...I will be installing new Ground Controls soon.
If you're interested Titanium..I have a friend in Sterling who installs shit for decent prices...
I've had Eibach + AGX installed for about 3 months (paid $200). I have wobbling problem since then. Installed camber adjustment kit, did alignment and balancing (stock wheel), but no cure. Any idea?
what kind of wobbling problem? is it at high speeds or all the time...do you feel it in your steering wheel? Maybe you need to get some 17" G-racing rims...lol...just kidding.
I was wondering too, seriously...
Will get 17" aftermarket wheels fix my problem?
Honestly, the only way getting new rims would help the shaking problem is if your wheels are not properly balanced or one or more of your rims are bent. Other than that, it shouldn't make a difference.Originally Posted by titanium02
