I have the Eibachs, which are supposed to be 1.8" (even though it HAS to be more than that) front, 1" back maybe?
I rub with that, so sportlines (or other 2" drops) surely will too,in case that's what you were wondering.

with 225/40zr18 tires

Same specs as me...
I got more then a 2inch drop wit 225/40/R18 on they only rub when i turn or a suspension part breaks

The rubbing could be the result of tire size. Try a 215/40/18 tire or even better 215/35/18...that should lessen the rubbing issues.

35s will increase the cringing over potholes.
