Here the deal, I'm using a 1G Knock sensor, the computer is pulling timing. It thinks there is knock but isn't any. I tryed to search it but there is not a difinitive YES/NO awnser. Can some on hook a brother up? Any one have this problem before? Thanks John

why are you using a 1g knock sensor?? the 2g sensor is superior. i know the 1g guys can't use the 2g sensor with the stock ecu and i don't know if it would work the other way around. but i do know that the 1g guys with the AEM EMS are using a 2g knock sensor because of its superiority

the 1g and the 2g knock sensors are different electronically. Thats most likely the reason its pulling timing, your not using the correct sensor.
