Its been askeda million times but i'm still wondering

I know that 20 inch X20 wheelswill fit on our car they are 7.5 wide rim

will an 8.5 inch 20 fit with the new 225/35R20 fit with out rubbing??
i've seen a 8G on cardomain with aset on but he doesnt give any info or anything like that,
any help would be great,

what isa good size tirefor 18's too?? i've heard 225/40R18??

and i know an 8.5 inch rim in an 18 and 19 inch wheel will fit also

depends on offset. you wanna stay as close to +45mm as possible.

i'm looking at DVS/OMEGA apache wheels, in an 18 but would like 20's

i cant find any specs on the rim exept 8.5 inches wide
one site said 40et next to the width but i'm not sure what that is if the off set is 40 will they fit??
i dont care if the hang out a little like 1/2 an inch just not alot
because they are dubs

I don't know about 20's that are 8.5" wide. It definitely depends on the offset, but you may still rub up front when trying to turn and you might not be able to turn the wheel as far as it can go. Not to mention you'll probably rub on the rear fenders.
