Only engine swap you should consider:
    -6bolt 4g63t from a 1990/91 turbo eclipse/talon/laser

Manual swap isnt that hard. the engine swap is very time consuming. I wish I would have just turbo'ed the '64 and did a 5spd swap, it would have taken me half the time its taking me to do the '63t swap...

BTW, your new rims look way better than your old ones
and that pocket bike is pimp haha

Seth I think your engine swap is takin so long cause its a 1g and it takes more "customizing" then dropping a 2g turbo in would.

Well if I didnt have to wait a month for my flywheel, and a week or so for every other part it would be done by now. Best advice I can give you is not to start your project till you have ALL your parts and know what you have to do before you start...

if u get any DOHC engine, turbo or not would u have to get the hood with a "bump" in it or no?

You can cut the underside supports out of a non-hump hood and the DOHC should clear fine.

I have a stock hood with no hump and the DOHC clears fine. So does Robs. No cutting needed.

You dont have to cut anything. It clears just fine. I supose if you want to run the upper timing belt cover you may have to cut. I have it I will check the clearance tomorow. I dont install the upper cover or the real DOHC lower cover. I have my stock sohc lower cover, but cut part of it out to fit it on without having to remove the stupid AC tensioner.
