    M3 lip spoiler... opinions.

So I ordered this CF M3 lip spoiler from a local shop about a month ago as a special order my buddy put in for me. since he doesnt carry them in stock. I measured the trunk to 47" not thinking that the trunk curves. I get the lip a few days ago and it's indeed short about a half an inch on each side..

I can't return it since he cant return it to his supplier either. So I'm in a bind. the lip itself is 47" and I would sell it but never get my money back. I got it for around $40.

so here where you guys come in.

It doesnt look bad when its on the trunk.. to me atleast.

should I try to make it work? or should I sell it?

If it was me, I would sell it and get one that is 48" so it covers the trunk from one side to the other, no gaps and then get a EGR visor and it will look good. I don't like this one because from the rear you see the edge of the trunk and then the lip doesn't match it. If it's aligned with the trunk edge it will look ok. Know what I'm saying?

if it makes u feel any better the caps covering ur factory spoiler holes draw alot of attention.. not paying atention to the size of the lip, it looks great!

Can you even get these lip spoilers in a range of different sizes? If you can get one a tad bit longer, then I guess you could just sell this one, but if not it looks fine to me.

It's rubber? In the original post it says CF. The ones I've seen are usually plastic.

it doesn't look horrible, but if you aren't completely satisfied with it, you should just get rid of it. No use in putting up with something sub-par to your expectations.
Besides, I'm sure that could sell quick on ebay/craigslist

I think it looks pretty good, I wouldn't worry about the 1/2 inch gap on each side it actually looks good like that, but if you do decide to get rid of it, let me know I might take it off your hands.
