Trim rings...

Alright so hopefully soon i am going to undertake the cheap mods of blacking heads, gunmetal paint on my lower grille, gunmetal ZA grille, and gunmetal wheels. Now i've always wanted that gunmetal style wheel with the chrome lip but at the moment dont have enough money to simply buy new wheels. Is there any farily cost efficent way of adding a lip to my wheel?? Ive contemplated trying trim rings but please shoot me down if that just plain out is rice or wont even work haha (no shaneb here ;) )

i think you should screw that idea and invest in some lowering springs

lowered 8g with steelies > not lowered 8g with steelies and fancy chrome

sorry to hijack, but just figured Id hop in with a question Ive been pondering. You know how some rims have the thin blue, or red or whatever ring around the outside of, lets say, a black rim. Is there any product out there that you could get to add this accent to a set of rims?

I know 4-g-rim used red pinstripe vinyl for his 5zigens. look for some in blue. that way if ya dont like it it'll come off and it'll come off clean
