Looking good so far! I'm confident that you know what you're doing, just don't rush it homie.

Thanks guys, I've got about 5 days until MOD, so I'm really hoping to wrap things up.

I have tuned a big maps patch with the GTS ecu (the auto to manual rewire was such a pain in the ass).
    All my intercooler piping/setup welded
Exhaust manifolds welded up complete with wastegate piping
Fuel with an fittings, pump, regulator all setup
3in downpipe and full exhaust is welded
Mishimoto evo5 radiator is in with fans wired to original fan controller box
Intake piping with welded recirculating pipe is together
3kgt vr4 injector resistor pack is installed with each injector rewired
Each injector needed to be rewired with dsm injector wires, hopefully it's just a simple circuit and I have the wiring correct =/
Engine is completely torqued to spec and timed correctly

    Still need to:
Weld the bov adapter to the intercooler piping near the TB
Push my "Tuned" big maps to the GTS ecu (already did a successful test write)
Tuck the wiring a bit more so it's functional and safe with the extra clutter from the turbo setup
Wire in my gauges so I can read wideband tables and monitor the engine
Find a belt that fits my ac delete (BJ's setup was too small, realized he has the 3sx pulley)
Buy another weld in o2 bung and weld it for the rear o2
Install oil pan and weld in 10an fitting (6g72 upper oil pan did not clear the crank =(
Run the an line for the oil feed
Make a bracket to hold the turbo up to prevent manifold cracking.

Pretty sure I only have another 20 man hours to do it all lol.

    did you start it

For those who have not saw the build on GT:

Here's an update, still not running though =/ Going to finish the pinout this weekend and give it another go.

This is my new exhaust setup:

This is the 3000gt resistor pack I had installed so I can use low impedance injectors (evo/dsm).

Soldered the fuel wiring together, didn't want to chance a leaned out cylinder. I also found out that I needed to wire in different connectors to fit the evo injectors.

Mid ecu pinout/swap lol (Point of no return)

I was planning on going under the axle with the exhaust but decided not to for now. The 3in looked pretty low and I didn't want to scrape anywhere.

    Intercooler / bov mockup:

    Tial 38mm wastegate setup:

The gf caught me wiring lol!

Made adjustments to the megan headers instead of going with the mx6 restricted setup:

    Turbo and oil lines in:

Tial wastegate setup from under the car:

Pipes were close, but squeezed the 2.5in hot side with the 3in exit between the oil pan and the I beam:

Intercooler passenger side under the car:

    AC Delete belt:

Hole in the FPR diaphragm =(

    Mishimoto fan wiring / setup:

Got it running finally, found that I was only running on 4 cylinders

Yes it flooded itself out lol.

No video after, but I had to change the disc within the distributor to the GTS eclipse one instead of using the 6g74 disc. Runs nice and smooth now, just have a problem with the TPS sensor reading 100% throttle when it is simply connected.

    nice job Kieth

yeah, when I had a misfire on #5, it sounded like this but with a slower tempo (still like a helicopter), but hey, your the first (to my knowledge) to have a turbo 3.5 liter in a Galant, this is great progress anyway

Hope you're planning an oil cooler.

Why no mandrel bent tubing at all?

Lol!! Thanks guys. Love the Carlson gif.

There are some mandrel bends btw. The header setup and downpipe had some mandrel bends. The rest of the bends were just not what I needed to make it fit right.

Silvertune, I didn't install it yet but I do have a 6an 10 row oil cooler that I'm going to hook up and use.

I didn't even realize it but I had to TPS upside down. Comes up in evoscan fine and I happen to notice marks on the TB. This entire build is really stressing me out so I'm just overlooking things.
Anyway, I have fouled plugs now so I'll be doing that next and hopefully tune it from there.

You have officially done the single worst thing you can do to a new motor next overheating it. If it's throwing black smoke you need to stop despite the novelty of having your engine running. Seriously, how can you actually put an engine together but not have read up on how to break it in?

Besides that, the lack of mandrel bends is going to give you enough back pressure to cause reversion. THERE IS SCIENCE INVOLVED holy eff. It doesn't matter how big your pipe diameter is, cutting angles like that and doing so in such great multitude is going to make your exhaust a resonance tunnel. Your EGT's will be legendary. I really hope you're planning on running E85 or better.

I'd have gone with totally different route for the piping both cold and hot side, but as long as you're happy with it its all good. I hope you chose the shortest route for the oil drain line too and maybe fab up some heat shield for the filter

    Looks awesome btw

God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.

Huh? My brother's gsx runs fine at 30psi and it ran pig rich just like mine is now when the motor was new? Is the 3.5l a glass engine? Also his exhaust is much the same and he's running pump 93. Should I redo both cars? Lol
Anyway, total running time on the engine is around 5 minutes. I've already changed the oil since it was running on 4 cylinders before when I was having problems with my spark.

I originally had it planned differently, but maybe I'll change it later.
