you need stock grills
Well they are stock but why's that?
because they make the car look not as good as stock ones jay :)
msg tony2face. he has a set
Alright a couple changes and pics as promised to JDyal and M-rod. New muffler... my Bosal single dtm tip got me an exhaust ticket a couple weekends ago. To solve that I looked for something quieter, even though the Bosal really wansn't that loud. I kinda like to think of it like a Nismo exhaust on a 350z, but not quiet as high pitch maybe. Keep in mind this pic is real old (debadged and new bumper since)http://i795.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps47dfe016.jpg
What I ended up getting was a Summit Racing turbo muffler offset in/center out, 2-1/4 on both ends. Got the shop to weld on a tail pipe for a more oem look. And here are the results

This is like a stock 350z, with even less of a high note, very mellow and even quieter probably, almost like a stock v6 8g (car is v6) with a little tone.
And what I did before that, same day, was install the oem woodgrain I bought last year on the front doors. Rears will come eventually. Ups guy dropped the muffler off literally while I was finishing the doors, and I had to hustle to get to the exhaust shop since they closed at 5pm (left around 2) and work on a first come first serve basis
Bought brand new clutch release fork, clip, pivot ball, clutch release bearing and the two axleshaft oil seals in preparation for this summer trans tear down and stage 3 clutch installation, also got a forge MBC
^^I like this. Good job wiring the fogs independently. The lip really makes the 8G-B stand out!
^ ^ that's one of the things ive always thought about doing but haven't come around to doing "yet" .. agreed on the lip btw
You could always do it the way I did it, buy a cheap HID wiring harness that gets loose over time, hit a bump with your low beams and fogs on, then bam, fogs only.
LMAO!
I know this isn't the right place to post this but I might be moving to Cali soon so gotta sell the g ASAP pm me if anyone has any serious offers ....

^^Start a TI (testing interest) or FS (for sale) thread in the Marketplace. You've got permission, you been here long enough and have enough posts. You know, you could always drive the car there, I'll bet it makes it. It's only 3000 miles, with proper preventive maintenance she should be fine.
Thanks bro I'm about to do that right now...she will be missed but I might move to Hollywood hills...I'd be gettin pulled over everyday in the g...lol
Pulled over? Why? Theres plenty around the L.A area.

Got port work?

Two days of work into this manifold.
All that's left now is reinstallation of the manifolds and intercooler piping and I get to fire it up for the first time since November.
Damn that thing is going to breathe!
Peaking power at 6700 RPM's is my goal. 500whp will be peanuts if I can achieve that.

Bought agx's for the rear, so I can lower my rear again...yes the stock/raked suspension is going. Question though, should I have any concerns about adjusting them? I did a lil research on here before placing my order, and I read a couple people had issues with the adjustment dial breaking on them??? I never had that issue when I had agx's on my s14. I just always made sure I pushed in with the little screw driver before turning, and that it was securely in position?
Also as far as bumpstops, should I order new ones if my originals are kinda worn? I'm trying to do whatever to make these last lol. Springs are for a 3g and suppose to be 1.4 in the rear (unsure if for v6/or 4cyl)
If you mold that lip right it can look damn good... Put mine on over a year ago

Lame, I know, but I'm proud of my soldering... I used to get real sloppy but these are my cleanest (harness for the JDM tails):

I need a heat gun to get the shrink applied better, I've just been using a lighter.
That "Helping Hand" is awesome too.. Makes working with a wire harness so much easier.

Washed waxed and painted the rims gunmetal
^ looks good, just put the lowering coils on that you have. You always wanted to paint your rims white, gunmetal matches the car way better.
Yeah it does you're right. I'm gonna put the springs on soon just when I'm free and my buddy can help. I digged the white for a minute then I was like nah, I need to do something else
If you bought the setup assembled you wont need a friend, it'll be a walk in the park. If you only got the springs.... smh, hang on cuz your in for it with spring compressors and what not.
Got me some goodies for the summer, Comp Clutch stage 3, Forge UNOS MBC, custom one way valves and a valve cover (thanks to Ivory8g) that I'll be modifying to make the G more interesting ;D
Washed my car and decided to put on my rims i got last month, what do you guys http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/09/ruderasa.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/09/y5ama7ah.jpg think
