I will keep those in mind. Was that all 4cyl stuff?

I believe so, I searched for 2000 Galant ES 4 cyl
He just picked up a set of dual piston front calipers not sure if the rotors will work... The pad will definitely will not work.

I meant to say suspension. My bad.
Thanks Cody. The V6 has a larger diameter rotor, so I don't think they'll work with the V6 calipers.
Should I go slotted or blanks?
Bout time lol

97-04 Diamante...The two pot front brake calipers fit the 8G as well as the rear suspension. The lower control arms looks like it will bolt up.
IDK, maybe drop the whole Kia/Hyundai longblock in there and keep your currect engine as a backup. The Kia head will drop your compression down to 8.5Cr unless you planning to boost then that's fine.
Do you think the front control arms will? I need to replace my ball joints ASAP. Up for some R & D?
I have the V6 calipers ready to install. Just need rotors + pads.
Wont dropping the CR reduce power? I know the DOHC flows better, but for power now and in the future, wouldn't it be better to do an evo swap?
If I had the cash, I'd 5 speed swap it tomorrow LOL.

sure...when?
Yes, dropping CR reduce power and engine response. Yes the DOHC flows better but the Evo head is expensive thoughQuote:

A turbo hehehe
Blank rotors.
Always.
I read somewhere that they are prown to cracking, unless I'm thinking drilled.
Just get the cheapest blanks you can find. Pads > rotors
The cross drilled rotors are prone to cracking. It has something to do with its structural integrity. Slotted rotors aren't exactly flawless either. Slotted will wear out your pads faster.
The important part is the pads. Depending on their material, it will help you stop better.
I've had D/S rotors on my G for a while when i had it & never had that problem
I think you might be right on the drilled rotors. I'm wanting a setup that will last for awhile. I killed these rotors in about a year and a half.
Ceramic pads?
