IIRC you have teins, which I think dont drop as much as my springs so you might be ok. Plus my springs are for 3g eclipse.

Also if your looking for a strut bar/brace, the oem off a 3g eclipse is a nice option and direct bolt on. Have one I got at a junk yard, and its still one of my fav mods to date

Im gonna get a front and rear bar.

I got these ones off tire rack,
they were about $40 cheaper then ebay and free shipping. $200 something i think.

Gotcha.

Side question... looking at the original sticker for the car raised a question. It claims that it has heated side mirrors. But there is no extra button inside the car for heated side mirrors. Is that tied into the rear defrost button?

removeing the K-frame of the jdm broke a 12mm bolt in a verry verry bad spot... i guess there is going to be alot of drilling in my future fml

If so equipped, they are tied into the defroster for the back window.

Another cool tidbit, if you don't have heated side mirrors and end up replacing the with heated ones (oem or aftermarket), they will work.

This is true, because I got heated replacements and my car never had heated mirrors prior, yet they work. They feel warmer when defrost is on, but I never got to see them in action. Hopefully this winter (installed in summer).

When your mirror is fogged up, if you blink, you'll miss the heated portion clearing them out, they work fast. Like within ten seconds fast. For frozen mirrors with a coat of ice a couple minutes gets it done.

Nice, looking good. Just be sure to creep if you can over speed bumps especially when the rear wheels go over it. Got a funny feeling thats how I blew my rear gr-2s. I hit one kinda harder than normal at work one night, and seem like a week later oily struts. Not to mention it was during winter, so I don't know if cold weather has an effect too. Assuming things might be a little stiffer then, that is.

How were you able to have so much height in the rear (stock)?

Usually every G I see has sort of a sag in the rear.

I have no idea, the shocks/struts were all stock as far as I know and my neighbor was able to tell,
135k miles and it was still sitting that high off the ground lol.

Are those 15" rims? If so that would explain the height. When I had 15s too, the gap was much larger, even in the rear.

Ah ok, Right now I have 15's on it until I can get something else, but that is my last priority for the car atm.

Change it out to pennzoil full synthetic and she will love u. I have 179k and I don't burn any oil. With conventional oil I was burning it before the next oil change.

Well, I want to switch to full synthetic but people have told me since I haven't been using full syn this whole time, I will get leaks. Ive been using high-mileage (syn blend) since I've started doing my own changes since I've gotten the car and I haven't been burning any oil. Will I get leaks if I switch to full syn? Lol

Edit: I have 130k miles BTW lol

If there are old gaskets that need to be changed then they may cause an issue. I haven't changed any gaskets on this car and nothing is leaking and I have been driving it for 10 months with full synthetic. No leaks. Valve cover is leaking slowly but that was my mistake for not torquing it properly.

Maybe someone else can chime in on this.

If you dont have a leak now, one is not gonna magically appear because you switched to full synthetic.

Another on topic myth I always hear: just because the car has over 100k miles doesn't mean it needs thicker oil, if that were true by 250k you would need to use 85-140wt gear oil. Stick to what's on the cap usually its 30WT

These cars are just happy to get an oil change regardless of what is used.

^ I use it in both my cars, no complaints. Both are 5 speed, I like to stay in higher RPM during traffic so I can maneuver through the slow traffic quickly. Plus it's ricer points.

That is correct sir, but I was referring to the "She's Spoiled" comment.

Any conventional oil will do more than enough given adequate intervals.

As for RYP, too many motors (built) lost on the dyno. Blocks got rebuilt and ran with other oils (VR1, Mobil1) with no problem.
