i dont know how hard it is to start a trend in this forum
but its come to my attention that most japanese vehicles have a way of determining which phase of vehicle is which when the same model undergoes a remodel.
Zenki means former
Kouki means latter
i think from now on we shoudl refer to galants like this for better reference
94-96 - Zenki 7G
97-98 - Kouki 7G
99-01 - Zenki 8G
02-03 - Kouki 8G
and so on
