    Zenki/Kouki Galant Connotation

i dont know how hard it is to start a trend in this forum
but its come to my attention that most japanese vehicles have a way of determining which phase of vehicle is which when the same model undergoes a remodel.

    Zenki means former
    Kouki means latter

i think from now on we shoudl refer to galants like this for better reference

    94-96 - Zenki 7G

    97-98 - Kouki 7G

    99-01 - Zenki 8G

    02-03 - Kouki 8G

    and so on
RIP GALANT, GOOD MORNING BMW 330i

zenki and kouki are reserved for the JDM models specifically the vr4 8g original ('96-'97) and facelift (update) vr4/viento (98+) models. so refering to USDM models with those words causes more confusion.
