my montero's been sitting in my driveway for 3 days waiting for a new hub. first I thought it was the grinding sound was rotors crapping out, so I I did the brakes last weekend. I suspected the bearings were going bad as I was doing the brakes, but the grinding went away for a day. then finally next day, the bearings crapped out. It sounded like a machine gun. arghh!!! The stealership wants $367 for the hub assembly and they said they'll work with me on the price if I get it done there...FVK you very much! I got ebay, google, youtube and autozone.

I cant stand the wait. While I got some free time, I finally started working on putting the recaro seats.

very nice if you need some help getting them to fit or anything feel free to ask me any questions...also as im sure your aware the rear doesnt fit, you would have to have your seat reupholstered. the recaro fabric that is on there is very hard to find and if you so it is very expensive. you can go the route as were done with mine and have the center inserts reupholstered in a different material and have everything else done with that. obviously the suade is easy to match being its just basic black suade

thanks fatal1. Im almost done with the passenger side. should have it installed by today. will be doing the driver's side this weekend. as far as the rear, I'll probably leave it as is or get black covers. dont really want to spend that much money in the G anymore.

Helotes- What size rims do you have. I think it would look great with some 18s. And your ride should still be good. I love the work you have put into your car. I hope one day to own a 9G that is close to the same caliber as urs.

They are 16". I have seen too many bent 18" and up to spend my $$ on them. I thought long and hard about it and stayed with 16". I also got a hell of deal on them, that happens when you buy over 700rims and tires in a year from a local Discount Tire.
